City Council 9-20-22

Upon request of the Planning & Zoning subcommittee, that the Council consider the proposed amendments to zoning ordinances relative to affordable housing and workforce housing; amendment and insertion of rear zoning setbacks in the dimensional regulation chart as shown in the legal notice.

Upon request of the Disability Commission, a referral to the Finance Subcommittee that FY22 funds be transferred to the FY23 account in the amount of $78,035.64 to make appropriations on their own.

Upon request of the Mayor, a referral to the Appointment Subcommittee nominees for the Team Framingham Steering Committee J. Tosi & L. Sousa

Recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Subcommittee, that the City Council consider the suspension of the prohibition of flags under Article VII Signs and Historic District: Section 1.6 Prohibited Signs, Section 1.6.3 Balloons, Inflatable devices or flags used for advertising or commercial purposes for a period of two years. (FIRST READING)

Upon request of the Finance Subcommittee, a report and recommendation for the compensation and classification of the Webmaster position and transfer of funds from the Public Works Administration Department and the Human Resources Department to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and the Reserve Fund.

Vote upon the report and recommendation of the Finance Subcommittee with regard to the appropriation of $15,000.00 from the Opioid Stabilization Fund for purpose of hiring a consultant (MAPC) to assist with the prioritization of statewide Opioid Abatement Funds.

Upon request of the Finance Subcommittee, a report and recommendation with regard to a request to Establish and Vote Spending Limits of Revolving Funds. (SECOND READING)
