Upon request of the Planning & Zoning Subcommittee, that the Council votes to refer to the Planning Board and advertise the following amendments to add City Council as a Special Permit Granting Authority as follows: To amend the Framingham Zoning Ordinances Chapter 435 Section 46 Special Permits and Special Permit Granting Authority, and Section 435 Attachment I - Table of Uses, to add the City Council as the Special Permit Granting Authority for multi-family, mixed-use and mixed-use complex and assisted living facilities for buildings with a gross floor area over 75,000 sq.ft.; further amending Section 435 Attachment I Table of Uses by amending footnotes 9 & 10 to read "Mixed-use structures and mixed-use complexes over 30,000 square feet but not greater than 75,000 square feet shall require a Special Permit from the Planning Board. Multifamily structures with over 30,000 square feet but not greater than 75,000 square feet shall require a special permit
