Description The Finance Subcommittee is comprised of five council members and considers any or all questions appropriate for the purpose of considering the budget including the creation of new positions to the payroll, changes to the employee classification plan or any matters pertaining to increasing City of Framingham employee headcount.

The primary mission of The Government Channel network is to provide live gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Board of Health, City Council, Disability Commission, Licensing Commission, Planning Board, School Committee, Traffic Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals. However, when those boards are not meeting, the Government Channel provides coverage of various public affairs events. The Government Channel cable operation provides programming by governmental bodies and agencies to inform residents and encourage participation in local government.
